"My other question is a bit more selfish, so I don't know if I should ask-" sighing with a hand over her chest. "The other day. You said there was something that I didn't know...and it made Shi-Shi really mad" her eyes now firmly set on his.

"He said...he said you were lying, b-but I don't think you are! What is it that I don't know?"

"This is a backup of the last known footage of an assailant upon the scene. I recommend you look at it. It's about 10 seconds. The handheld I gave you, insert it and look for yourself."

Relief flooded her at that notion. "I see, I can understand that sentiment, I think in one way or another we all can share in that"

A tap to the handheld, "This is fascinating! Although you must here it all the time" her words still honest.

Staring at him, her face faltering some. "M-my mother? My mother died but..." taking the small drive, her stomach a bundle of nerves now.

The handheld boots up and opens the file once she placed it in.

Plain as day, a tall and lean form over her mother who lay in her own blood. A pipe in his hands before he turned and stalked off.

He wonders how she..no...'they' will handle this. He needs the strongest, even when faith is tested.

"I'm sorry, Compa." He starts off.

"It seems this footage while old, was long hidden away in the archives of Planetune. Yet re-organized as a classified incident, hidden within Basilicom storage. I would assume whomever did that, knew no one would look into a religious organizations archives, let alone if they're safe guarded with a heavy encryption.

The information was de-crypted during my intitial pursuit of data. Which failed, gloriously, due to the strong cybersecurity of Planeptune. Though even still, information leaked by the crevices."

The thought flying from her mouth so easily.

She thought to the day she happened to run into Takeshi. She was running an errand to drop off a parcel to a patient of hers. He was banging his head against a metal fence until she stopped him.

There have been too many opportunities for him to do so, but was he just lying in wait?

"I love him-" but how could she now?

“I’m sure you’d be dead by now, in that case.”

“He doesn’t seem like the type to ‘plot’. He simply does. At least that’s my impression.” A sigh, observing with a tsk.

“You’d best think carefully. I’ve only told you the undeniable fact. Whatever is surrounding this, can you say you’re ready to accept? How far are you willing to go….” Once again, his words ring out again.

A long arduous plan, to gain fealty. He wonders if they’ll succeed.

Idle hands do not do this man well.

When he awoke and his partner was nowhere to be had, that pissed him off. Eventually after throwing an utter fit, he found her note.

Unfortunately he also found her pocket mirror which she 𝙣𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧 left without. He'd trust her of course. It was denizens of this nation that he didn't trust.

To kill time, he'd rummage around. Finding nothing of any note, he fixed the leaky faucet in the kitchen. One good deed...

Takeshi then scrounged a meal for himself with some leftovers and left the cabin. Hands in his coat pockets, he gazes upwards, then down at the ground.

With no-one in the vicinity to terrorize, he decided to...roam a bit.
