"How...vexing" He'd murmur. "Are you certian about this?" They had been walking for hours. Monsters have been in and out of sight. Venosnaker becoming restless as well as his other two contact beasts.

Shaking her head.

"He has to know I'm her daughter...is he just plotting to kill me too?!"

The thought flying from her mouth so easily.

She thought to the day she happened to run into Takeshi. She was running an errand to drop off a parcel to a patient of hers. He was banging his head against a metal fence until she stopped him.

There have been too many opportunities for him to do so, but was he just lying in wait?

"I love him-" but how could she now?

“Unlikely.”

“I’m sure you’d be dead by now, in that case.”

“He doesn’t seem like the type to ‘plot’. He simply does. At least that’s my impression.” A sigh, observing with a tsk.

“You’d best think carefully. I’ve only told you the undeniable fact. Whatever is surrounding this, can you say you’re ready to accept? How far are you willing to go….” Once again, his words ring out again.

A long arduous plan, to gain fealty. He wonders if they’ll succeed.

There was so much to mull over.

She felt sick.

"Yes, you're right...um..." a bow of her head. "T-thank you"

How far was she willing to go now? Go...perhaps she should.

"I'm sorry for keeping you!" Feigning a smile once her head lifted. "I'm sure you're very busy. It was...good to run into you again"

A lift of his hand, as if to say it was truly not an issue.

“It’s nothing. As I said before, contact if you need anything, any time.”

His hands stuff into his pockets.

“And take care, yes?” He best prepare as well. As he undoubtedly will anticipate oncoming rage. But he has a plan. He always does.

She was on a mission. Perhaps one a bit sinister for someone like her. She's off to the local market for some ingredients!

Idle hands do not do this man well.

When he awoke and his partner was nowhere to be had, that pissed him off. Eventually after throwing an utter fit, he found her note.

Unfortunately he also found her pocket mirror which she 𝙣𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧 left without. He'd trust her of course. It was denizens of this nation that he didn't trust.

To kill time, he'd rummage around. Finding nothing of any note, he fixed the leaky faucet in the kitchen. One good deed...

Takeshi then scrounged a meal for himself with some leftovers and left the cabin. Hands in his coat pockets, he gazes upwards, then down at the ground.

With no-one in the vicinity to terrorize, he decided to...roam a bit.

The market was bustling as usual. Rare wears from all over Gamindustri as well as local delights.

The nurse lost in the crowd and lost to her thoughts. She settled on a large meal. One with seafood curry!

He's ambling along said market. He may have pocketed a few things. Gifts for the lady of the house.

Speaking of...he couldn't mistake those curves or that hair. But what was she doing out here?

Pushing past several passersby, he's now behind her, an arm under her bust to ̶p̶̶i̶̶n̶ her there against him. Leaning in with lips to her ear.
"What are you doing out here, hmm?"

Compa whips around in surprise, looking up at him.

Eyes narrow. She had been crying. A hand clutches her face. "What happened?" His tone sharp. "You left this..." He pulled out her mirror, offering it back to her in his large palm.

"You could have waited for me this morning. You know how...impatient I get when I'm left alone"

Especially when any other riders, namely Tiger could be sulking close by.

"Sorry..." She didn't meet his gaze. "I wanted to get a head start for Nep-Nep. She was double booked for the morning"

Avoiding the mirror, she stepped around him looking for more ingredients. "Um...I was thinking. We should celebrate tonight considering everything you've done"

Something was wrong. He'd make means of figuring out what or whom was the issue.

"Celebrate? Hoh, I thought we did earlier" a smirk. "If that's what you wish. However..." He's following her.

Grabbing her arm to pull her in close. "I know you're upset...I have ways of making you talk"

"I realized that I haven't been cooking at home. S-so I wanted to make-" freezing up when he grabbed her, her gaze lowered some.

Perhaps he did. However..."curry" Moving to one final stand to purchase the spices necessary for this dish. She'd pay and try to ease her way through the crowds.

Pushing several people out the way. Breaking through the bustle, he took a few of her bags.

"I have a surprise for you when we get back"

"Oh..." Moving along the road back out of the city.

"I was thinking. What if we went away? It's been some time since we've seen the ocean..." Red eyes keeping ahead.

They finally make it home. He gazes around. Still quiet, as he left it.

"A lot of reflections there you know" Eyes cutting to her. "Did you need help?"

"Why don't you take it easy? I want to get this simmering. I have to make a requested medicine and then I'm free for the evening"

Setting her bag down after she unpacks their meal supplies. She'd place the handheld on the counter as well.

"There's going to be a lot of changes here, I know it..."

He comes up behind her, hands over hers. "At least let me cut this up for you...it makes things go faster..."

Lips seek her neck with firm presses, a faint hum.

"Changes...we will remain a strong constant~" pressing to the curvaceous nurse, his kisses more frequent and turning into nips against her skin.

A fumble of some of the vegetables along the cutting board.

"C-can I ask you something..?" His kisses causing a bit more clumsiness in the kitchen. A blush rising on her features.

"Hmm. Anything" catching a clove of garlic setting it on the board. He reaches for a blade and begins to chop away at the vegetables.

He'd keep her pinned between him and the counter, diligent between both tasks of preparing dinner and his woman.

"Where do you see yourself in the future?" Some hesitancy when she asked.

"All the riders at my feet. This new power...it's something that I 𝙛𝙚𝙚𝙡-" a hand sliding up her shirt. "Can be beyond beneficial in the long run...that aside, there's much I know I must do here with you" setting the knife down.

"Which is why there's something important I wish to say to you..."

Of course, he's always had the mindset of demolishing anyone and has come along.

Tilting her head and eyeing the knife before she turned to fully face him. She's genuinely confused. Red eyes peering up into his.

"To me..? What is it?"

"You have been with me through many many ordeals...there were times when I thought I wouldn't be able to pull through and you saved me. Time and time again you have showed me your caring knows no bounds..."

There's sincerity in his eyes and his tone. "You took a chance on me when no one else should have. I'm a bad man...and there's much that I will have to answer for, but for now..." He moves to bend on one knee.

"I must have you with me. Always" a hand in his pocket to pull out a small box. "I don't say this ever, if at all but..."
Nervousness?
"I adore you, Compa. I need you to marry me" He'd pry open the box with the ̶s̶̶t̶̶o̶̶l̶̶e̶̶n̶ ring inside to show her.

Hands in her sweater pockets as she listened to him. Unable to meet his eyes at first until he moved to bend down...

Her heart racing. Compa stares at him. The man everyone was right about. The man who murdered his own family as well as her mother.

The silence in the kitchen was deafening. Red eyes welling up with tears for a number of reasons. The weight of what she knew overloading her train of thought.

Taking a step toward him, arms move to wrap around him to settle on his shoulders, a syringe in her hand.

"Takeshi...You're a liar" stabbing the needle into the base of his neck and pushing the stopper all the way down before she hastily backstepped from him.
