[Semi-Open] A Nurse with No Name

[clumsynurse]

After discarding a majority of anything that had some semblance of familiarity in her wardrobe, Compa found herself in a village on the outskirts of Eastern Planeptune.

Using spare credits, she took on the plain black long dress of ceremonial robes with a deep hood to conceal herself. She was nearly out of her home nation and as minutes ticked by, she knew she had to at least be across the border soon. There were a lot of places she could stop and hide once out of the boundaries of what was familiar.

"That would be good for Asakura-kun, yeah?" A soft smile

[chalicerouzer]

A sideways glance between the two ladies. "What exactly are you looking for, Compa?"

[clumsynurse]

"I don't really know" a rocking on her heels with ahead shake. "Maybe a...stick! Or a wooden sword?!"

[lovelettergeneral]

A sweatdrop with somewhat of a laugh. "Compa, you can find a stick outside..." hands on her hips

[chalicerouzer]

A small chuckle.

"What about a Lance or something?" He'd turn to the nurse.

[clumsynurse]

"Oh...hmm. Maybe" a small nod as she goes to look over the intricate handle.

"That's more Vert-Chan and Chika-Chan speciality"

"True! Lady Vert always has beautiful lances! Always in pristine condition too"

[chalicerouzer]

"Yeah. Truly worthy of a goddess" He speaks thoughtfully.

"Anything catching your eye, Compa?"

[clumsynurse]

A shake of her head. "It's all so beautiful...b-but I think I'll know when I see the statement weapon"

Looking back to the blades in the window. "I'll get those for Nep-Nep" pointing to them, the Owner happy to oblige her in taking them to be wrapped.

"I'd like them delivered to Planeptune's Basilicom please. And oh, could I leave a note with them?"

"Aww! That's so sweet!" The owner handing Compa some parchment.

"Ah, we'll be right outside, Compa!" Motioning for her partner to follow.

[chalicerouzer]

He'd nod and step out with her. Although the energy seemingly changing. Several of the digital monitors now showing a feed of the Plenptune Basilicom in shambles. A news feed scrolling across the bottom stating that several murders have also taken place within that time as well.

"Saori-Chan" a point

[clumsynurse]

A bit of a commotion outside caught her attention. A hurried nite to her friend before paying and hurrying out to be met with the same news facing her on the screen.

?! "Nep-nep!" Eyes hurriedly looking over to the scrolling texts, her stomach plummeting.

He wouldn't. There's no way...a small fidget. "Saori, can I borrow your communicator? Please!"

"How-?" She'd nod to Compa, handing her the device.

"Take all the time you need!"

[chalicerouzer]

"I think it may be time for us to head back to Lastation. Lady Noire I'm sure saw this as well..."

[clumsynurse]

Walking back toward the pair, hearing his words.

"Thank you, Nep-Nep and everyone is fine, b-but I think it may be time for us to part ways. I can't have Noire being worried as well when her best general is out and about"

Compa putting on a brave face. She'd hand back the small communicator.

"Are you sure?" A small head tilt.

Although this would be a good opportunity for Compa to truly mull over what was earing away at her. Taking her device back with a bow of her head before hugging her friend.

"If you're sure. Please be careful out here, okay? I still don't like the idea of you by yourself...but..."

[chalicerouzer]

A hand on Saori's shoulder for a moment. "I agree, be careful. We'll see you around, Compa-chan"

[clumsynurse]

A soft bow.

"Thank you both for understanding. You be safe too"

Breaking away from the couple, Compa feeling extremely conflicted. Her friends asking her to come home didn't help matters.

"Takeshi..." His actions continue to pile up against him.

Finding her way out of the main hub of the village, she found her way into a small park. It seemed fairly deserted as she went to sit on a bench by a marble fountain.

At that point the tears began all over again. The nurse sitting with her head in her hands, sobs shaking her entire form.

Eventually, his mirror beasts tracked her down...

There was hesitancy in his approach, but her sobs are what had him dare to emerge from the reflection cast in residual splashing from the fountain.

Still bleeding and battle-worn, he steps toward her, nearly holding his breath the nearer he got.

[clumsynurse]

Trying to wipe her eyes as she heard someone apprach, looking up with a gasp at his banged up form stepping over to her.

Concern gripped her before her fear set in. Red eyes stare wide.

"H-how..?" A whisper. She shook her head at him, scooting off the bench and now on shaky feet.

"Stay away from me..!"

The panic in her eyes made him stop.

"Please" a wipe of his stained lips. "I need to explain this" a small grunt, holding his side.

"I owe you that much..."

[clumsynurse]

"Explain? There's no need! You killed my mother! You can't explain away that!"

[how_vexing]

"You're right. I should have...no" He managed to stand up to his full height, a frown.

"I would have never had you find out" a step closer to her.

"I cannot take away what I've done to you...but you need to understand I can and will make amends in some way"

A small bend to be at eye level with her, a small grunt. His ribs on fire at this point.

"I need you. You are mine. Anything I've said to you, I mean it. I will take your pain away by any means" a bloody hand palming her soft cheek.

"I've taken liberty to...speak with Dan on your behalf. I think he now realizes what boundaries are set"

She found herself frozen to the spit by his gaze. That look he always gave her was prominent. Her cheeks burning up.

"I-I don't understand.." a shake of her head. In a way she did. Compa loved him still.


"Y-you fought him?!"

For her. He still acted for her. His thoughts on her.

A hand glowing once she places it on his chest, a bright glow coming over him in a faint green outline, gradually healing him.

"I-I have to know, why did you do it? What would make you kill her?" A whisper now

"You don't need to understand..." lips by her ear now, his hands roaming that soft skin before he felt a rush of relief at her healing touch.

A bit of a deeper breath now as his ribs seemed to ease up in pressure.

"I did. I had to have him see my reasoning, and I wouldn't take no for an answer. I think...there may be some common ground there, however..."

He pulls his head back to look her in the eyes.

"When I came here...I didn't know which way was up. All I knew was that I had to either try to get back to that hell that I called home, or that I could try my luck here. I got into a fight with a stone dragon from a mine. I lost pretty bad, so I wound up in Planeptune trying to find a place to recover..."

A small pause as he remembers.

"I stole a fresh set of clothes and I ran into your Mother. She saw how badly beaten I was and went to help me...but she wanted some guards to help me find a place to stay. When she went to call for them..."

His eyes keep on hers. "I couldn't have her expose me. Her actions were noble. However, I'm a bad man Compa. I couldn't go from one prison to potentially another"

Hands gripping her shoulders.
"Later on when we met, your first words to me where the same ones she had first said to me. At that point I knew who you were. There's no mistaking someone so thoughtful. Innocent. I had to...have you"

He had to keep her safe. Mild repentance turned more.

"I understand of you hate me. Hit me. Stab me. Do what you think is best, but I will always be here for you"
